I draw inspiration from nature. My love of color relationships and feelings they evoke in me are realized in each piece I create. My interest is in simplicity and creating pieces that are healing and meditative.

In my second year of art school, at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I won a design competition and my design was then painted on the Peterson Nut Company facade facing E. 9th Street and Carnegie Ave, just across the street from Jacobs Field. The mural stood for 10 years.

After art school, I was a colorist for a local wall paper design studio. I enjoyed color spotting for trends in the home decor industry. I traveled extensively to Toronto and New York to oversee the color and print of the production. During this time I continued painting; focusing on using colors to create a relaxing effect.
